Product Questions

Which is better – Swarovski or Preciosa?

This isn’t really a matter of one brand being better than another. Instead, they both have different uses. The strong branding of Swarovski can add a unique selling point or special touch to your items. The Preciosa brand is less well know but is still a good quality for times when you don’t need the image that the Swarovski name creates. You will see on the product pages that items vary in price, so it is also dependent on your budget which of them you choose.

Can you give me instructions on how to make things?

Look out for tutorials and tips on our blog. If you cannot find what you are looking for there then just contact us and we will be happy to help you.

Where can I find glue, wire, scissors, etc?

As the website expands, we have plans on introducing these items for sale. If you cannot find what you need on our website, it is likely that we will be able to supply you with it. Just contact us with your request.

Purchasing Questions

Do I have to buy a minimum amount?

There is no minimum order on items that we have in stock. You can just buy one crystal if you like! There is however a minimum order on items that we have to order especially for you. We do try to keep this as low as possible (we simply use the manufacturer's minimum order quantity), enabling you to try new items that you wouldn’t otherwise.

What do the three price bands mean?

Each product has three prices assigned to it depending on how much of that product you buy. The more you buy, the less you pay per unit, saving money on bulk purchases.

Unfortunately quantities cannot be spread amongst several colours or sizes of the same product.

I can’t find what I want on your website – can you get it for me?

Yes! We have good relationships with all of our suppliers, and design some components that are made exclusively for us. We regularly go on buying trips around the world, so just let us know and we will try to source particular items for you.


I’m not sure what colour I need. Can I send you a swatch to colour match?

Of course you can send us a piece of fabric, some stones, or even a complete outfit to colour match for you. Our skilled customer service team are very experienced in getting the right colour match for you.

How do I pay?

You can pay in a variety of ways; by credit or debit card, by cheque or by BACS. Payments through the website are handled by Sage Pay and are secured by Geo Trust, via Sage Pay you can use a Pay Pal account as well – we’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for you! Please note cheque or BACS payments will delay your order, as we will require funds to clear before progressing with your order.

Can I have a trade account?

Unfortunately Office of Fair Trading regulations mean that we can only offer credit account terms to registered companies or partnerships; sole traders or those trading from home fall under the banner of ‘consumer credit’ and currently we do not have the facility to offer this. However everyone is welcome to register as a user and benefit from order tracking and reviewing previous orders.

Delivery Questions

How long does delivery take?

Items which are stocked – and in stock – will be shipped within 2 days and delivery date will vary depending on the type of postage selected. We currently offer Royal Mail 1st class mail along with a courier option, which provides a ‘signed-for’ option, if required. Postage costs vary depending on the option selected at checkout. Orders over £35.00 must use the 'couriered' option, or free local collection, for insurance reasons. You can find out more about deliveries and returns here.

For items which are out of stock or made to order, please allow one week for dispatch. For example, all fascinator bases are made to order, so please allow one week for delivery of these items.
